Barn Owl Study is a graphite drawing I made from a photo reference. I wanted to study the owl and make it look as accurate as I could. I used short, layered pencil marks to separate the wing's overlapping feathers without making them look like one flat pattern. This drawing was mainly about observation, patience, and accuracy.
