Erupting Mind is about knowing too much and becoming overwhelmed by it. I split open the head and exposed the brain to make that feeling physical. I put a lot of focus into the coat because I wanted the folds to look heavy and believable. I used my own fineliner mark-making method to build the fabric instead of using only one kind of shading. The pose and expression help show the pressure the person is feeling.
