Butterfly and Flowers Sketch started without a plan, reference, or larger meaning. I opened my sketchbook and drew whatever came to mind. I was not trying to make the butterfly or flowers completely accurate. The shapes, patterns, and details developed while I worked. Most of my larger drawings are slow and planned, so this sketch shows what I make when I stop overthinking and see where the drawing goes.
