Jay Gould Political Cartoon started as a U.S. History assignment, but I wanted to turn it into a finished artwork. I drew Jay Gould as a fox because foxes are seen as sneaky and cunning. The money bags and labeled safe show the dishonest ways he gained his wealth. I made the gloves and boots look smooth and different from the fox's fur by changing my linework and shading.
