Metroman is a hand-built ceramic bust based on the character from Megamind. I chose him because I thought his large face, hair, expression, and costume would be fun to sculpt. My goal was to keep him recognizable after changing the character from animation into clay. The ears were the hardest part because they were small and easy to damage. I had to shape them evenly and attach them without crushing them. After building the sculpture, I glazed and fired it. Credit: DreamWorks, Megamind.
