Cliff of Inevitability is about something slowly coming to an end. Most of the trees are already gone, the cliff is falling apart, and the last tree does not feel safe. I used fineliner dots to make the ground look rough and eroded. I also tried spiral hatching on the tree to make the bark look old and twisted. The empty space around the cliff makes the last piece of land feel isolated, like there is nowhere left for it to go.
