The Rolling Refuge began as a perspective assignment during the 2026 KCAI Illustration Pre-College ArtLab. Instead of drawing a normal house, I turned the idea of home into a mobile refuge, partly inspired by the survival feeling of multiplayer zombie games. The piece is not built around deep symbolism. My main goal was to push myself with isometric perspective and visual storytelling. I filled the semi-trailer with many small objects because I wanted to see whether I could keep very different forms inside the same perspective system. The hardest part was making every object feel as if it belonged to one believable space. Micron pen carries most of the structure and detail, while marker adds broader shading to the road and trees.
