Hand of Greed shows greed destroying the person it controls. The eye in the palm shows that the hand is still alive and aware while it rots. The gray bands tighten around it like restraints. I used my own hand as a reference and painted the piece in watercolor at a larger size than I had worked before, keeping the anatomy and small details consistent across the large paper. This was the first piece in my AP series about the seven deadly sins.
